# Paul Mestemaker — Founder, builder, sometimes funny

> Paul Mestemaker is the founder and CTO of Eluve, where he is building an AI operating system for
> healthcare. He is an entrepreneur, engineering and product leader, longtime software builder,
> blogger, and former standup comic.

## Current work

Paul is building Eluve and shipping AI systems into real healthcare workflows. The goal is to
automate repetitive work, reduce errors and burnout, and help clinical and business leaders make
better decisions. As founder and CTO, he works hands-on across engineering, product, design, and
business.

He also builds side projects through CleverPoint LLC and is working to publish more of what he
learns on this site.

## Background

Paul previously cofounded Circadian Risk and served as its CTO, led product at Close, cofounded
Mythly Studios, and spent about seven years at Microsoft. At Microsoft, he was a founding member of
the System Center Advisor team. He started his first business at age 15, building web applications
for Fortune 500 companies.
